Thomas serves as an Associate Scientist of Process Development at Alphazyme. As a Florida native, Thomas’ curiosity about the natural world drove him to pursue a career in science, beginning in 2018 with a B.S. in Biology from Indian River State College (IRSC). Working in various roles at the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute of Florida, and the United States Department of Agriculture, Thomas was exposed to experimental design, data collection, and analysis. As the lab coordinator at Alphazyme, Thomas brings passion, optimism, and a relentless work ethic to the team. In his spare time, Thomas further indulges his passions for science and nature by building and operating an extensive aquaponics system.
